Our Team

Our Core Team members are volunteers donating their time, competencies, professional insights, and skills to The Amy Foundation. Even if their areas of expertise and day to day work and study responsibilities might be unalike, they all come together for the same cause: improving the mental health of teenagers and young adults in Costa Rica.

Candy Rivera

For over 20 years, Candy has worked in the Information Technology industry as a Systems Engineer. During this time, she has acquired ample experience in software development, as well as project and product management. She now holds the chair of Strategic Director of the Amy Foundation.

Jéssica Viales

As an Internationalist, Jéssica has specialized herself in International Businesses and International Peace Studies. She has taken several professional courses delivered by the United Nations, UNESCO, and UPEACE. She is the Coordinator of Finance, Fundraising, and Allegiances.

Valeria Viales

Valeria is an majoring in Electrical Engineering from the University of Costa Rica. She has experience in Advertising, Public Relations in Digital Media, Community Management and content creation for Social Networks. She is the current Social Media Coordinator in The Amy Foundation.
